I've mounted 2 rear tires and one front now on the Savage and many other dirt bike tires over the years. The last one on the Savage I had to add about 2 oz even with the dot by the valve stem. I'd strongly recommend having the tire balanced to make the tire last longer, save the rear wheel bearings and what little shock action that is there. I would not want to change one w/o a lift as fitting all the pieces back in along with the tire/wheel while lying on the floor would be very difficult. Let us know how the fit is. Max
